Sponsorship
Sponsor a pre-school child at Sunrise for Hope Children’s Center and secure the existence of the project which assure care and education for vulnerable children. From Monday to Friday, all of our children are been split up into classes and the lesson goes from 08:00 am to 03:00 pm. Everyday they get two meals which are a warm cup of porridge as breakfast and lunch at Noon. To provide all these, we need some money to keep it going.
HOME SPONSORSHIP
In line with the government guidelines, Sunrise for Hope Foundation strives to keep families together, The best place for Children is within a family unity rather than institutional care may be! Our social workers at Sunrise for Hope, work hard at locating and visiting families for our residential children and establishing family relationship.

Some of our residential children are able to return home when family situations changes, or the reason they came to us no longer exists (for example if a carer is ill and recover) or we are able to find extended family who can care for their child. These children continue to be sponsored at least through their primary school education.
How does a pre-school sponsor work?
A preschool sponsorship cost around 10 EURO per month. That’s enough to support one child and secure his/her education, care and food that they receive five days a week. Quarterly the sponsor gets an update from the child through mail or email.
What happens if a child is old enough to go to primary school?
When the child is supposed to go to primary school, we will inform the sponsor about the different options. Here the sponsor will have two options which are sponsoring a child to a public school or sponsoring a child to private English Medium School. At this stage, the sponsor can cancel the sponsorship or continue to sponsor the child during his/her primary school career. Another possibility would be a new sponsorship for a different child at SUNRISE.
SPONSOR A PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILD.

The advantages of these schools are that, they teach in English, employs more professional teachers and offer a better and more widespread education in contrary to government schools. These school have school fees. In order to pay these fees, we are in need of sponsor to support our children.
What are the costs?
A primary school sponsorship costs between 50 EURO and 55 EURO depending on the school per month. These school are located in and around Arusha. They are great primary school with qualified teachers and an outstanding education in English for better chances in their future. In Tanzania, orphaned are generally taken care of by extended families, neighbors or guardians’ family. However, these families can not generally afford to take care of all their own family and the orphans throughout the day. Many schools and orphanages act as a day center to take care of the needs of the children throughout the day to relieve the guardians of the stress. Sunrise For Hope is a stepping stone of these children to introduce them to the World, arrange them to find a sponsor and place them in a structured school environment that facilitates a transition to a real accredited school.

Tanzania is among the least developed countries in the World. It currently ranks 159 out of the 187 countries however the costs of living are still quite high, even when compared to western standards. Families struggle to make a living. It is not uncommon for both parents to work multiple low-income jobs; children are left to spend their days on the streets, or to work. It is not uncommon to see 3-6 years old children selling vegetables or goods outside their residence. Sunrise for Hope is a safe Heaven for these children since it provides them with two meals a day, an introduction to basic pre-school education and a place to feel safe and cared. Sunrise for Hope currently has upwards of 60 students attending its program
Of course, sponsorship choice is completely yours, our students are currently in the most need of sponsorship. Each of them comes from the poorest residence. It would be very beneficial for their entire residence if they acquire a proper education. We will not make a decision for you but have our priority setup since we do know the students quite well.
